Hoyt who asked the <br />engineer about the method of computing figures on the width of each alley. <br />The last person to speak was Jeanette Bach of 1453 W. Hoyt who said she appreciates the <br />often difficult policy work council does and supports the alley reconstruction project <br />going forward. <br />Mayor Gehrz read a comment that was received by telephone to staff earlier in the day. <br />The call came from Faye Cushman of 1361 W. Hoyt who said she was unable to attend <br />the council meeting but wanted council to know she was supportive of the alley <br />reconstruction. <br />There being no other persons wishing to come forward, Mayor Gehrz closed the public <br />hearing at 8:00 p.m. <br />• POLICY AGENDA <br />Consideration of resolution 00-OS ordering the alley improvement project and preparation <br />of Mans and specifications <br />After brief discussion and additional questions, councilmember Hustad moved to approve <br />resolution 00-05, ordering the alley improvement project and preparation of plans and <br />specifications. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Consideration of resolution 00-06 advertising for bids for the alley project <br />After brief discussion of the bid process with engineer Maurer, councilmember <br />Lindstrom moved to approve resolution 00-06, advertising for bids for the alley project. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Request to approve extension of recycling contract with E-Z Recycling for one year <br />commencing on February 29, 2000 <br />The extension of the recycling contract for one year at the current rate is recommended <br />by staff and councilmember Kuettel moved to approve such extension. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />
