• City Council Minutes <br />November 24, 1999 <br />POLCY AGENDA:. <br />Acceptance of Sam Jacobs resignation as a councilmember Mayor Gehrz noted <br />that councilmember Jacobs was no longer a member of the city council since he <br />moved from the city on November 6, 1999. All councilmembers expressed their <br />pleasure in having served with councilmember Jacobs at some time during his <br />ten years on the city council. <br />Consideration of plans and contracts for a pavilion. Landscape Architect Scott <br />Midness presented the final plans for the proposed pavilion on the front lawn of <br />city hall and the accompanying costs for the work. After some discussion, <br />councilmember Hustad moved that the city accept the quotes of $24,950 from <br />Minnetonka Steel, $18,500 from W.L. Hall and $5,005 from Muska Lighting for <br />the construction of the pavilion. The motion passed unanimously. <br />councilmember Kuettel moved that the city encumber $9,719 for the site work <br />and limestone slabs associated with the project. The motion passed <br />• unanimously. <br />Consideration of a contract with SafeAssure for OSHA compliance monitoring <br />and training. councilmember Hustad moved that the city enter into a one year <br />contract for $2,450 with SafeAssure for OSHA training and monitoring. The <br />motion passed unanimously. <br />Accomplishments for 1999.
