CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES OF MAY 12, 1999 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M by Mayor Gehrz <br />Present: Gehrz, Gibson Talbot, Hustad, Jacobs, Kuettel, Hoyt <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />No one was present for the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF APRIL 28, 1999 <br />The minutes from the Apri128, 1999 council meeting were approved. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Councilmember Gibson Talbot moved approval of the consent agenda. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />• 1. Disbursements and payroll <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Request for authorization of purchase and installation of automatic dialer <br />in the sewage lift station <br />4. Accept a gift of ceiling fans in Community Pazk from the Falcon Heights/ <br />Lauderdale Lions Club <br />5. Authorization to purchase trees for boulevard and pazk planting <br />6. Approve the purchase of planters for the westside of the community business <br />district on Larpenteur Avenue <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />Consideration of Resolution 99-14 awazdin~ the contract for the 1999 street <br />reconstruction project to Palda & Sons Inc for $1,212,234 18 <br />Councilmember Jacobs moved approval of the resolution awazding the construction <br />contract to the lowest bidder for the 1999 street reconstruction project. The motion <br />passed unanimously. <br />Update on the University of Minnesota women's soccer stadium and the St Paul Campus <br />planning committee. <br />• Administrator Hoyt updated the council on the construction of the women's soccer <br />stadium currently underway.
