~d <br />u <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 10, 1993 <br />Mayor Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:03 P.M. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Ciernia, Gehrz, Gibson Talbot and Jacobs. <br />were Bachman, Hoyt, Maurer, and Phillips. <br />ABSENT: Chenoweth <br />RECOGNITION OF NANCY WICKHEM <br />Also present <br />Mayor Baldwin recognized resident Nancy Wickhem for her efforts in <br />implementing the Neighborhood Crime Watch program in her <br />neighborhood which area covers approximately 300 homes. Baldwin <br />read the Resolution of Commendation and presented Ms. Wickhem with <br />a plaque. <br />R-93-14 <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING NANCY WICKHEM FOR HER <br />DEDICATION TO A SUCCESSFUL NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH PROGRAM <br />1 <br />~' <br />MINUTES OF 2/10/93 APPROVED <br />Council approved the Minutes of February 10, 1993 by unanimous <br />consent. <br />ITEM C-6 MOVED FROM CONSENT AGENDA TO POLICY AGENDA <br />A request by Mr. and Mrs. King for waiver of fees for a variance <br />request and building permit was moved from the Consent Agenda to <br />the Policy Agenda. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Council approved the following Consent Agenda by unanimous consent: <br />1. Disbursements <br />(a) General Disbursements through 3/2/93, $21,018.66 <br />(b) Payroll, 2/15/93-2/28/93, $12,122.46 <br />2. Awarding of contract for 1993 street sweeping <br />3. Resignation of Maurine Venters from Human Rights <br />Commission and appointment of Daniel Tait to complete <br />the term <br />4. Authorizing execution of the recycling contract with E-Z <br />Recycling, Inc. <br />5. Approval of traffic signal for Fairview and Larpenteur <br />Avenues intersection <br />6. Licenses <br />
