C~ v+ <br />Mayor Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:06 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Gehrz, Hustad, and Jacobs. Also present were Hoyt, Asleson, and Rigdon. <br />ABSENT <br />Gibson Talbot. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There were no comments from the floor. <br />MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 22, 1995 <br />Minutes were approved with minor wording clarifications from Councilmembers <br />Jacobs and Hustad. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />Motion was made by Councilmember Gehrz to approve the following consent agenda. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />1. Disbursements <br />a. General disbursements through 3/2/95: 527,840.09 <br />b. Payroll, 2/16/95 to 2/28/95: 511,321.44 <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Awarding of contracts for tree removal and tree trimming for 1995 <br />4. Acceptance of the Unitree Funded Neighborhood Tree Planting Grants <br />5. Approval of a variance from Chapter 9, §8.01 subd. 2(k) of the zoning code for <br />1579B N. Hamline Avenue <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FEASIBILITY STUDY AND SCHEDULING PUBLIC <br />HEARING FOR 1995 ALLEY RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT (DUE TO NOTIFICATION <br />REQUIREMENT FOR TEN PROPERTIES NOT PREVIOUSLY NOTIFIED) <br />Administrator Hoyt explained that ten properties affected by the 1995 alley <br />reconstruction project had not been sent proper mailed notification of the previous <br />public hearing. These ten properties are located on Idaho Avenue between Arona and <br />Pascal Streets. Staff has been advised to schedule a second public hearing for these <br />ten properties and then commence with the project as a whole. Hoyt also noted that <br />the alley assessment policy, as it relates to corner lots, would again be discussed in <br />March 22, 1995. <br />
