CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MINUTES OF OCTOBER 11, 1995 ~~; <br />Mayor Baldwin convened the meeting at 7:06 p.m. <br />PRESENT <br />Baldwin, Gehrz, Hustad, and Jacobs. Also present were Hoyt, Asleson, and Maurer. <br />ABSENT <br />Gibson Talbot. <br />COMMUNITY FORUM <br />There was no one wishing to take advantage of the community forum. <br />MINUTES OF SEPTEMBER 13, 1995 AND SEPTEMBER 27, 1995 <br />Minutes were approved by unanimous consent. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />There being no objections from councilmembers, items C-8 and C-9 were added to the <br />consent agenda. Motion was made by Councilmember Gehrz to approve the amended <br />consent agenda. Motion passed unanimously. <br />1. Disbursements <br />2. Licenses <br />3. Fund Transfer <br />4. Resolution authorizing city clerk to apply for SCORE recycling grant funds from <br />Ramsey County <br />5. Falcon Heights School playground landscaping <br />6. Hiring of election judges for 1995 city election <br />7. Approval of administrative assistant/planner's eighteen month pay increase <br />8. Partial payment on roof reconstruction <br />9. Adoption of Ordinance 95-07 regarding accessory buildings and structures <br />POLICY AGENDA <br />There .was no policy agenda for consideration. <br />WORKSHOP <br />The city council had a discussion with Don Bluhm and Jack Frost of the Metropolitan <br />Council regarding the proposed city acquisition of the Troutbrook storm sewer interceptor <br />via a joint powers agreement with Roseville, St. Paul, and Maplewood. The Met Council <br />provides the area with sanitary sewer service, but owns only a few storm sewer <br />interceptors. They are trying to get out of the storm sewer "business" by returning the <br />interceptors back to the local communities. They are proposing to sell the interceptors <br />rather than giving them back because the Met Council still owes money on them and if <br />
