MINUTES <br />JANUARY 2 3 , 19 91 <br />PAGE 5 <br />ROSEVILLE SCHOOLS PRESENTATION OF PROPOSED INTEGRATION PLAN <br />School Board Member Ellen Shelton and Elementary Teacher Lynnann <br />Warren presented a brief video and an explanation of the <br />proposed plan. The City Council wholeheartedly endorsed the <br />School Board and School Staffs in pursuing a voluntary <br />desegregation plan and offered to assist in the endeavor. <br />ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION R-91-6 AMENDING THE 1666 COFFMAN <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT <br />Gedde presented the resolution and recommended the amendment as <br />requested by the Ramsey County Examiner of Titles. He explained <br />that the changes are technical in nature and are necessary prior <br />to recording the condominium documents. Jacobs moved adoption <br />of Resolution R-91-6 which carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-91-6 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDOMINIUM DECLARATION FOR <br />1666 COFFMAN <br />CITY EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE TO U.S. MILITARY APPROVED <br />Wiessner explained that the Fire/Rescue Department has been <br />requested to provide assistance to the U.S. Department of <br />Defense in the event local medical facilities are required as <br />result of the war in the Middle East, and that the City's <br />Fire/Rescue personnel have volunteered to serve without pay. <br />After a brief discussion, Wallin moved that the City emergency <br />resources be authorized to assist with the stipulation that <br />there will be no significant cost or liability to the City. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />INFORMATIONAL ITEMS NOTED <br />Council noted the following informational items: <br />1. Closing of Underwood and Hoyt on the Fairgrounds. This <br /> action was taken by the Fairgrounds to save on snowplowing <br /> and vandalism costs. <br />2. State Auditor's Financial Health Profile for City and <br /> Update on State Aid Projections for 1991 <br />3. Hamline Avenue Project - Engineer does not recommend <br /> requesting a variance at this time. (Maurer's letter <br /> of explanation dated 1/1/91 is on file in the City <br /> Office. <br />4. Commission Minutes: <br /> a. Solid Waste Commission Minutes of January 3, 1991 and <br /> Accompanying Resolutions SWR-91-1 and SWR-91-2 <br /> b. Parks and Recreation Commission Ad Hoc Meeting Minutes <br /> of January 3 , 19 91 <br />5. Council Reports <br />6. Administrative Report Attached <br />
