MINUTES ~ c'f g <br />JULY 8, 1992 'G <br />PAGE 2 <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPROVING THE FINAL PUD FOR <br />ROTTLUND HOMES DEVELOPMENT <br />City Engineer Bill Westerberg reviewed his report dated July 8, <br />1992 addressing utilities, the drainage/grading plan, boundary <br />survey, site plan, preliminary plat, etc. for the proposed <br />Rottlund Homes Developmement, Maple Knolls Courtyard Homes. <br />Westerberg walked through each items Don Jensen, Rottlund <br />Homes, indicated they are working with the engineer to comply <br />with all requirements. Westerberg stated that many of the items <br />have recently been remedied. <br />City Attorney Tom Gedde explained that he attended the closing at <br />Commercial State Bank on July 3, 1992 at which time Rottlund <br />finalized purchase of the land for the development. He stated he <br />has been working with the Rottlund attorney regarding the <br />homeowners association documents, city code requirements, and <br />vacation of the existing easements on the property. Gedde also <br />indicated he is draf ting additional language addressing security <br />to be provided by Rottlund to ensure satisfactory completion of <br />utilities and landscaping for the project. Gedde recommended that <br />Council approve the final PUD with the condition that appropriate <br />security for landscaping and utilities be in a form acceptable to <br />the city attorney and engineer. <br />GIBBON TALBOT ARRIVES <br />Gibson Talbot arrived at 7:36 p.m. <br />FINAL PUD APPROVED FOR ROTTLUND HOMES TOWNHOME DEVELOPMENT <br />Ciernia moved that Resolution R-92-25 be adopted contingent upon <br />satisfaction of all the city engineer's and city attorney's <br />requirements. Motion carried unanimously. Hoyt asked if this <br />action also authorizes signing the security agreements as soon as <br />the attorney approves such documents. Council agreed in the <br />affirmative. <br />RESOLUTION R-92-25 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT <br />FOR TOWNHOME DEVELOPMENT BY ROTTLUND HOMES <br />NO ACTION NEEDED ON ADDENDA ITEMS P 3 AND 4 <br />Due to the action taken with the PUD approval it was not <br />necessary to address items P-3 and P-4. <br />
