The Clerk Administrator's concern was misappropri- <br />ation of public funds without Council action. After a discussion, Council <br />requested that a representative of the Fire Department attend the February <br />29, 1984 meeting to make a presentation on the matter. <br />Councilmember Chestovich presented an update on the Business Community <br />meeting, which was held January 31, 1984. <br />Councilmember Chestovich inquired why only residents on Iowa Avenue were <br />told to remove ice and snow from their sidewalks when other sidewalks in <br />Northome have the same problem, and was informed that it was due to the <br />fact that complaints were received regarding the Iowa walks. <br />Councilmember Ciernia informed that the Park and Recreation Commission <br />had discussed the bad condition of the old tennis courts at the park, <br />possible uses of the court area, the need for a long range park plan, <br />and need for new tennis nets. <br />Councilmember Baldwin informed that the Falcon Heights Human Rights <br />Commission is hosting the State League of Human Rights Commissions at <br />City Hall on February 25, 1984. He also stated he will be attending the <br />Job Corps meeting on February 9, 1984 and will report to Council at the <br />February 29th meeting. <br />.~. ~3 <br />Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that the ADJOURNMENT <br />meeting be adjourned at 9:59 P.M.
