MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 27, 1984 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order at <br />7:00 P.M. by Mayor Eggert. <br />Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Ciernia, Baldwin, Hard, and Chestovich. Also PRESENT <br />present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Gasteazoro, Attorney <br />Van de North, and Engineer Schunicht. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Chestovich moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that CONSENT <br />the Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Licenses: See Attached List <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the follow- AGENDA <br />ing item be added to-the agenda: Approval of Plans and Specifications for ADDENDUM <br />the 1984 Sealcoating. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that the Minutes of MINUTES OF <br />June 12, 1984 be approved. Motion carried unanimously. 6/12/84 <br /> APPROVED <br />Mayor Eggert reviewed a subdivision request from Carol R. and V. Elving <br />Anderson, 1775 N. Fairview, and then moved that the request be referred V. E. ANDERS- <br />to the Planning Commission, that a Public Hearing on the matter be ON, 1775 N. <br />scheduled for July 25, 1984 at 7:15 P.M, and that the Clerk Administrator FAIRVIEW, SUP <br />be authorized to publish the hearing notice. The motion was seconded by DIVISION RE- <br />Councilmember Baldwin, and upon a vote being taken, carried unanimously. QUEST TO <br /> PLANNING <br /> COMM. PUBLIC <br />Mayor Eggert informed Council that negotiations between Bullseye and HEARING ON <br />Falcon Heights Service Center owners are deadlocked, and Council will 7/25/84 <br />no doubt need to make a decision soon. Attorney Gasteazoro reported <br />on the negotiating meeting and explained the condemnation process in BULLSEYE UP- <br />the event Council determines such action is necessary. Attorney DATE <br />Van de North. felt it might be wise to obtain a special appraiser who <br />could address the on-going business value of the gas station. <br />Following a discussion regarding the possibility of the City obtaining CITY TO <br />an appraisal of the property since the owners seem to be unwilling to OBTAIN <br />do so, and the possible relocation costs, the City Attorney was directed APPRAISAL OF <br />to obtain information on relocation costs. Mayor Eggert then moved, FALCON <br />seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the expenditure of funds SERVICE <br />be authorized for-the purpose of obtaining an appraisal of the business, CENTER <br />such costs ultimately being chargeable to Bullseye's letter of credit. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />
