MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING v'~ <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />SEPTEMBER 19, 1984 <br />r <br />J <br /> <br />A special meeting of .the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order at <br />7:00 P.M. by Mayor Eggert. <br />Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Baldwin, Hard, Chestovich, and Ciernia. Also PRESENT <br />present were Attorney Gasteazoro, Engineer Schunicht, and Fiscal Consultants <br />Apfelbacher and Chenoweth. <br />None. ABSENT <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the Consent CONSENT <br />Agenda be approved with the addition of the Planning Commission Minutes of AGENDA <br />September 17, 1984. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVED <br />1. Falcon Heights Ambulance Reports ~~2-06384 - ~~2-06584 <br />2. Lauderdale Fire Report ~~3-01284 <br />3. Planning Commission Minutes of September 17, 1984 <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the following ADDENDUM TO <br />items be added to the agenda: (1) 9:00 P.M. Public Hearing on Budget and AGENDA <br />Revenue Sharing, (2) Presentation by Mike and John Labalestra, Regarding <br />Proposed Lido .Cafe Addition, and (3) Schedule a Public Hearing on Proposed <br />Development of the Hawkins Property. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Councilmember Chestovich moved, seconded by Mayor Eggert, that the Minutes <br />of September 5, 1984 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Eggert presented a variance request from Raymond Wirth, 1795 Pascal, <br />to extend his driveway to three feet from the north property line. Mayor Eggert <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the request be granted as <br />recommended by the Planning Commission at their September 17th meeting. Unanimous <br />The request from W. E. Bossard to convert the house at 1899 West Larpenteur <br />to a 4-plex was deferred until action is taken by the Planning Commission. <br />Mayor Eggert explained that Bradford Schools has held a preliminary <br />discussion regarding the possible construction of a facility on the re- <br />mainder of the Hawkins property. The proposed developer would like to <br />apply for Industrial Revenue funds and since the application must be in <br />by October 20, 1984, the developer would like the City to schedule a hearing <br />to consider applying for such bonds. Mayor Eggert suggested this item be <br />placed on the agenda in lieu of the Bossard request. Following a short <br />discussion, Councilmember Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that <br />a public hearing be set for October 10, 1984, at 7:15 P.M. to consider <br />Industrial Revenue Bonds for the proposed development of the Hawkins property, <br />and that the Clerk Administrator be authorized to publish the hearing notice. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF <br />9/5/84 <br />APPROVED <br />VARIANCE FOR <br />RAYMOND WIRT~ <br />Vote. <br />APPROVED <br />BOSSARD <br />REQUEST <br />DEFERRED <br />BRADFORD <br />SCHOOLS <br />REQUEST TO <br />APPLY FOR <br />INDUSTRIAL <br />REVENUE BOND <br />PUBLIC HEAR- <br />ING SCHEDUL- <br />ED FOR <br />10/10/84 <br />
