MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 1.9, 1984 <br />PAGE 6 <br />Attorney Gasteazoro explained that the lot size and setback requirements <br />in the R-3 section of the new zoning ordinance had been inadvertently <br />omitted and presented Ordinance ~1~208 adding the omitted portion. Mayor <br />Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that Ordinance X6208 be <br />adopted and publication authorized. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 208 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LOT AREA, HEIGHT, LOT <br />WIDTH AND YARD REQUIREMENTS FOR R-3 LOW DENSITY <br />MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT - TOWNHOUSES <br />Attorney Gasteazoro then presented proposed Ordinance 46209 providing <br />for lot size and setback requirements for R-4 district which also <br />was omitted from the zoning ordinance. Mayor Eggert moved, seconded <br />by Councilmember Ciernia, that Ordinance No. 208 be adopted, and <br />publication authorized. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE N0. 209 <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING LOT AREA, HEIGHT, LOT <br />WIDTH AND YARD REQUIREMENTS FOR R-4 MEDIUM DENSITY <br />MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT - APRTMENT <br />BUILDING <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Chestovich, that the meeting <br />be extended until the budget and Item 6(d) have been discussed. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Eggert moved,. seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that an amount of <br />approximately $2,643 be expended as the City's portion of the cost of <br />repairs on the Larpenteur Avenue Lift Station. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Eggert gave a review of the budget workshop held with members of <br />the Fire Department and explained that one fire truck will require <br />extensive repairs soon and for that reason he felt it would be prudent <br />to increase the mill rate by one mill to assure a contingency fund of <br />$100,000. Following a short discussion, Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by <br />Councilmember Ciernia, that Resolution 84-34 be approved adopting the <br />1985 budget.
