Request a Barricade St. Mary`s St. from 4 to 9 p.m., May 19, 1985, <br />for a Block Party - Barb Smith, 1725 St. Mary's <br />1 <br />Councilmember Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard that the MINUTES OF <br />Minutes of May 1, 1985, be approved as presented. 5/1/85 APPROVED <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Bob Dokkan, a real estate broker working with Northwestern Bell <br />to locate small equipment building sites, requested that Council <br />consider allowing construction of such a building (16'x17') next <br />to the Idaho/Spelling Playground in the ponding area. He indicated <br />that the adjoining neighbor did not object if the structure is <br />placed back by the residential garage. The structure would be <br />used to house solid state electronic equipment, which should have <br />no impact on the neighborhood, the exterior of the building could <br />be decided by Council, the building. would be visited once a week, <br />and no driveway would be required as that person will walk to the <br />building. Following the discussion Council directed the Clerk <br />Administrator to obtain a site plan and sample of the contract for <br />Council's review, and indicated they would look favorably on the <br />request. <br />Ray Nelson, also a real estate broker with Northwestern Bell, <br />requested Council consider al~owing construction of an equipment <br />cabinet (6~' wide x 5z' tall and 27" deep) near the entrance road <br />to City Hall. The Clerk Administrator indicated he had no <br />objection if the cabinet is placed as near the nedge as possible. <br />Council directed the Clerk Administrator to proceed with this <br />request in the same manner as with the building previously <br />discussed. <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that Change <br />Order No. 1 for Larpenteur Avenue Watermain Porject be approved. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Engineer Schunicht commented on the request from Joanne G. C. <br />Behrens, 1816 Tatum, that utilities be extended to their lot north <br />of the Lindig cul-de-sac at the same time the work is being done <br />for the Ray Brown lots which indicates that there may be others <br />interested in extension of the storm drainage in spite of the <br />opposition shown at the informational meeting held previously. <br />He had requested that the Behrens conduct a survey to determine <br />NW BELL <br />REQUESTS <br />SITES FOR <br />CONSTRUCTION <br />OF EQUIPMENT <br />BUILDING & <br />CABINET <br />CHANGE ORDER <br />~~ 1 LARPENTEUR <br />WATERMAIN <br />APPROVED <br />BEHRENS, <br />1816 TATUM <br />REQUEST FOR <br />EXTENSION OF <br />UTILITIES TO <br />THEIR LOT <br />NORTH OF LINDIG <br />
