<br />1 <br /> <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 14, 1985 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Mayor Eggert at 7:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Eggert, Councilmembers Chenoweth, Baldwin, Hard, and Ciernia. <br />Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Van de North and <br />Engineer Willis. <br />None. <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that the Consent <br />Agenda be approved with the addition of the Planning Commission Minutes <br />of August 5, 1985. Planning Commission Minutes of August 5, 1985 <br />Councilmember Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that the <br />Minutes of July 24, 1985, be approved as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />9~ <br />PRESENT <br />ABSENT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />APPROVED <br />MINUTES OF <br />7/24/85 <br />APPROVED <br />Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that the following ADDENDA TO <br />items be added to the agenda: 1) AMM Discussion, and 2) Community AGENDA <br />Development Block Grant Program, Joint Cooperation Agreement. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Eggert presented a variance request from Judith Carney, 1841 Pascal, DRIVEWAY <br />to construct a driveway 3z feet from the property line. .Councilmember VARIANCE <br />Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that the variance be GRANTED TO <br />approved as recommended by the Planning Commission at the August 5, 1985, JUDITH CARNEY <br />meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 1841 PASCAL <br />Mayor Eggert presented a variance request from Susan Colton, 1760 Tatum, ROOM ADDITION <br />to place a room addition 3 feet ten inches from the property line. VARIANCE <br />Councilmember Chenoweth moved, seconded by Councilmember Baldwin, that the GRANTED TO <br />variance be granted as recommended by the Planning Commission at the SUSAN COLTON <br />August 5, 1985, meeting. Motion carried unanimously. 1760 TATUM <br />Mayor Eggert presented a conditional use request from Janice Bykowski, <br />1745 St. Mary's St., to erect a utility shed and explained that it is <br />necessary to schedule a public hearing on the matter as required by <br />State Statute and City Code.. Councilmember Hard stated that the Planning <br />Commission unanimously approved the request at their August 5, 1985, <br />meeting, after which Mayor Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember <br />Ciernia, that the public hearing be scheduled for 7:15 p.m., on <br />September 11, 1985, and that publication be authorized.
