MINUTES /~~ <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 25, 1981 <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to <br />order by Mayor Warkentien at 7:30 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and Eggert. Also present PRESENT <br />were Clerk Administrator Barnes and Attorney Allen. <br />Councilmember Larson. ABSENT <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the CONSENT <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. AGENDA <br />APPROVED <br />1. General Payroll 2/1/81 - 2/15/81 $ 4,221.83 <br />2. Liquor Payroll 2/1/81 - 2/15/81 $ 2,772.96 <br />3. General Disbursements 2/12/81 - 2/25/81 $46,664.93 <br />4. Liquor Disbursements 2/10/81 - 2/23/81 $ 8,530.74 <br />5. Recreation Advisory Committee Minutes of February 10, 1981 <br />6. Building Inspector's Reports, January, 1981 <br />One item of New Business was added to the Agenda, the matter of purchas- <br />ing a plant for Mayor Demos of Roseville. <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Brown, that the MINUTES OF <br />Minutes of February 11, 1981 be approved as presented. Motion carried 2/11/81 <br />unanimously. APPROVED <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that all communities LAKE COMO <br />involved in the Lake Como overflow problem have determined they will OVERFLOW <br />refuse to participate in the costs being requested by the City of St. UPDATE <br />Paul and that Metro Council will review the matter at a meeting to be <br />held February 26, 1981. Council authorized the Clerk Administrator <br />to attend the meeting together with Attorney Allen. <br />Attorney Allen presented for Council's consideration Ordinance 4179 <br />pertaining to swimming pools. Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded <br />by Councilmember Brown that Ordinance #179 be adopted as presented. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE 4179 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PRIVATE SWIIKMING POOLS <br />0 <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes informed Council that the Department of <br />Transportation is planning to close~the service road at Larpenteur <br />and Snelling, Amoco side, and establish a right turn lane off Snelling <br />on to Larpenteur <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes explained-that the status of the Section 8 <br />Program has not changed.
