MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 22, 1981 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />by Acting Mayor Brown at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Brown, Councilmembers Steele and Eggert. Also present were PRESENT <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes and Engineer Lemberg. <br />Mayor Warkentien and Councilmember Larson. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Acting Mayor Brown, that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. License: <br />ABSENT <br />~~ <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />APPROVED <br />General Corporate License ~~711 - Rubbish Removal <br />Kowski Rubbish Service <br />1560 Oakdale <br />West St. Paul, MN 55118 <br /> <br />New items of business added to the Agenda are as follows: (1) Discuss- NEW BUSINESS <br />ion of Tax Sub-committee Hearing on the proposed Amusement Tax Bill, (2) <br />Discussion of walkway between 1740 and 1746 Holton, and (3) Report on <br />physical for Fireman David Pearson. <br />Councilmember Eggert moved, seconded by Councilmember Steele, that the <br />Minutes of April 8, 1981 be approved as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Acting Mayor Brown presented for Council's consideration a request <br />from Flower City to display bedding plants outside the store from May <br />1 to June 7, 1981. Frank Ellering, Manager of Flower City, was in <br />attendance to answer any questions. After a short discussion Council- <br />member Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert, that Flower <br />City be permitted to display bedding plants outside from May 1 to <br />June 7, 1981 with the stipulation that the display not exceed further <br />than the parking area and does not impede traffic flow.
