Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION 83-32 A <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID ON SALE OF $525,000 <br />GENERAL OBLIGATION TAX INCREMENT INNIPROVEMENT <br />BONDS FOR 1983 AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE <br />Don Hamilton of Hewlett Packard Corporation addressed Council seeking <br />approval of the plans for the proposed addition to their building. <br />He gave a brief history of the growth of the company and anticipated <br />growth in the future. Engineer Schunicht informed Council that <br />Hewlett Packard has revised the plans to conform with recommendations <br />made by the Engineer and Planning Commission and recommended Council <br />approve the site plans. <br />Councilmember Ciernia inquired as to whether or not there were any <br />provisions made for compact cars to which Michelle Foster of Opus <br />Corporation replied that in most communities it would require a <br />variance and they usually prefer to abide by City ordinances. She <br />stated that the lot could be re-striped later if a need is indicated. <br />Following a short discussion, Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded <br />by Acting Mayor Larson, that the plans be approved as recommended by <br />the Planning Commission at their August 23, 1983 meeting. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Acting Mayor Larson moved, seconded by Councilmember Ciernia, that <br />Resolution 83-28 be adopted. Notion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION 83-28 <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE COUNTY AUDITOR <br />Ta REAPPORTION THE ASSESSMENTS ON THE HER,MES/ <br />HEWLETT PACKARD TRACT <br />Councilmember Ciernia moved, seconded by Acting Mayor Larson, that <br />Resolution 83-28 be adopted.
