Z2~ <br />REGULAR CITY COU~IL MEETING <br />AUGUST 23, 1978 <br />A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights <br />was called tto order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmeanbers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown. <br />Also present were Clerk Administrator Barnes, Attorney Kenefick and <br />Engineer Lemberg. <br />None. <br />Councilmember McGough moved, seconded by Councilmember Black to <br />approve the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />1. Fire & Rescue Reports 7$ thru 82 <br />2. Ramsey ..County Sheriff Report - July <br />3. Building Inspectors Report - June and July <br />!~. General Disbursements $19,867.85 <br />5. General Payroll $3,857.21 <br />6. Liquor Store Disbursements $7,195.5~C <br />7. Liquor store Payroll $2,255.89 <br />8. Yellen & Assoc. Liquor Store Financial Report - July <br />9. Licenses: <br />General Corporate License <br />Keither, Inc./ dab/K & K Hardware #518 <br />1535 W. Larpenteur <br />Falcon Heights, Mn. <br />C arette <br />Segal Wholesale, Inc. #503 <br />915 Snelling <br />St. Paul, Mn. <br />State 'Fairgrounds <br />Upon a vote being taken, the following voted ''aye''s Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmemabers Black, McGough, Steele and Brown. The following voted <br />"nay": None, Motion carried. <br />Mr. Bob Scarlett, Representative of the Public safety Dept., <br />Metropolitan Council, presented an informational slide presentation <br />regarding the 911 Emerger~y Radio System. In Minnesota, eleven <br />Cities have implemented the 911 sFstem. The 1977 legislature enacted <br />a law requiring implementation of the 911 service in the Metro area <br />by 1982. Citizens and public service agencies see 911 as a way to <br />P1~SENT <br />ABSENT <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />911 EMBERGENCY <br />RADIO <br />
