[1 <br />~' <br />[] <br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 8, 1979 <br />PAGE 4 <br />Councilmember McGough informed Council that the Fire Department has OFFER ON OLD <br />received an offer of $1,000.00 for the old fire truck. It was decided FIRE TRUCK <br />to wait 30 days before making a decision regarding the sale due to the <br />fact that others are interested in the truck. <br />Councilmember McGough informed Council that a portfolio of information <br />had been received from International Systems, Inc., 2580 Cumberland <br />Parkway, Atlanta, Georgia, a comprehensive grant assistance firm. A <br />letter accompanying the portfolio indicated that the firm would be <br />willing to send a representative to meet with Council at no cost to <br />the City. Council~mber McGough suggested that after Council examines <br />the material, a representative of the firm be requested to meet with <br />Council to answer any questions. <br />COMPREHENSIVE <br />GRANT ASSISTANCE <br />INFORMATION <br />RECEIVED <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember McGough, that CONSTRUCTION <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes be directed to obtain estimates on the cost COSTS FOR KIOSK <br />of constructing a kiosk at the Municipal Liquor Store.
