MINUTES SPECIAL CZTY COUNCIL MEETING NOVEMBER 25, 1980 V j A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order t by Mayor Warkentien at 8:00 p.m. Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele and Eggert. Also present were Clerk PRESENT Administrator Barnes, Attorney Kenefick and Engineer Lemberg. Councilmembers Brown and Larson. (Both arrived at 8:18 p.m.) ABSENT Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. CONSENT AGENDA 1. Lauderdale Fire Report 4~L-0680 APPROVED 2. Fire Reports ~~F-03580 - 4iF03880 3. Rescue Report ~~R-06280 4. Liquor Disbursements 11/4/80 - 11/21/80 $41,699.36 5. Liquor Store Financial Report, October, 1980 Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the Minutes MINUTES OF of November 6, 1980 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 11/6/80 APPROVED George Berry, owner of the apartment building at 1707 Tatum, was in attend- ance requesting Council's approval of his Conditional Use request to extend GONBE~UYE the blacktopping of the parking lot at the apartment. Mayor Warkentien APARTMENT moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the request be granted. 1707 TATUM Motion carried unanimously. Clerk Administrator Barnes requested permission to pay Davis & Lagerm~n, $800 PAY- Inc. $800.00 for the appraisal of the City Hall Property. Councilmember MENT TO Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the request be granted. DAVIS & Motion carried unaimously. LAGERMAN AUTHORIZED Clerk Administrator Barnes requested permission to increase the Liquor Store fire protec tion charge from $5,000 (as was authorized at the October FIRE PROTEC' 8, 1980 meeting) to $5,712 annually to expedite bookkeeping The $5,712 ION FOR would offset the salaries for the Fire Chief and Assistants. Mayor LIQUOR STORI Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Stee le that the request be INCREASED Tt granted. Motion carried unanimously. $5,712.00 Clerk Administrator Barnes requested authorization for George M. Hansen GEO.ti.HANSEN Co. to do the annual audit at an amount not to exceed $5,300.00. Council- TO DO AUDIT member Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the request be granted. Motion carried unanimously.
