MINUTES <br />SPECIAL CZTY COUNCIL MEETING <br />NOVEMBER 25, 1980 <br />V <br />j A special meeting of the Falcon Heights City Council was called to order <br />t by Mayor Warkentien at 8:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele and Eggert. Also present were Clerk PRESENT <br />Administrator Barnes, Attorney Kenefick and Engineer Lemberg. <br />Councilmembers Brown and Larson. (Both arrived at 8:18 p.m.) ABSENT <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the <br />Consent Agenda be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. Liquor Store Financial Report, October, 1980 <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the Minutes MINUTES OF <br />of November 6, 1980 be approved as presented. Motion carried unanimously. 11/6/80 <br />APPROVED <br />George Berry, owner of the apartment building at 1707 Tatum, was in attend- <br />ance requesting Council's approval of his Conditional Use request to extend GONBE~UYE <br />the blacktopping of the parking lot at the apartment. Mayor Warkentien APARTMENT <br />moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the request be granted. 1707 TATUM <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes requested permission to pay Davis & Lagerm~n, $800 PAY- <br />Inc. $800.00 for the appraisal of the City Hall Property. Councilmember MENT TO <br />Steele moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien that the request be granted. DAVIS & <br />Motion carried unaimously. LAGERMAN <br />AUTHORIZED <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes requested permission to increase the Liquor <br />Store fire protec tion charge from $5,000 (as was authorized at the October FIRE PROTEC' <br />8, 1980 meeting) to $5,712 annually to expedite bookkeeping The $5,712 ION FOR <br />would offset the salaries for the Fire Chief and Assistants. Mayor LIQUOR STORI <br />Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Stee le that the request be INCREASED Tt <br />granted. Motion carried unanimously. $5,712.00 <br />Clerk Administrator Barnes requested authorization for George M. Hansen GEO.ti.HANSEN <br />Co. to do the annual audit at an amount not to exceed $5,300.00. Council- TO DO AUDIT <br />member Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the request <br />be granted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />
