MINUTES { <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING 3 <br />DECEMBER 10, 1980 <br />PAGE 2 <br />~ Engineer Lemberg informed Council that he and the Clerk-Administrator PROPER GRADE <br />had met with the Ramsey County Engineer regarding improper drainage at TO BE CON- <br />Prior and Roselawn and Autumn and Roselawn following the recent Roselawn STRUCTED AT <br />Ave. construction project. The County Engineer agreed to work out cost PRIOR-ROSELAF <br />estimates on the needs and see that the work is properly completed with & AUTUMN- <br />the stipulation that the City Engineer survey the proposed grades at those ROSELAWN <br />locations. Engineer Lemberg requested authorization to make the necessary <br />survey in order that the County can have the work done in the spring. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilmember Eggert that the City <br />Engineer be authorized to set the grades at Prior and Roselawn and Autumn <br />and Roselawn in order that Ramsey County can instruct the contractor to <br />build the road according to the original specifications. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />1 <br />Councilmember Steele informed Council that he has received inquiries from <br />residents regarding the proposed new City Hall and he does not have the <br />answers to the questions. He suggested a feasibility study or some expli- <br />cit information be made available as to Council's intent and what action <br />has been taken to date. Some discussion followed regarding the possi- <br />bility of upgrading the present facilities after which Engineer Lemberg <br />informed that a feasibility study covering both a new building and possi- <br />ble upgrading of the existing facilities would cost approximately 54,500. <br />Mayor Warkentien explained that he would be meeting with Clint Hewitt <br />of the University regarding possible building sites and would report <br />back to Council after the meeting. <br />PROPOSED CITI <br />HALL DISCUSS- <br />ION <br />Councilmember Steele moved, seconded by Councilmember Larson that the ADJOURNMENT <br />meeting be adjourned at 9:08 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. <br />/ ~ <br />j e <br />Willis C.
