a/ RESCLUTLCN #75-1 O A RESOLUTIGN APPROVING THE RAMSEY COUI~'TY CONTINUED LEAGLL OF MUNICIPALITIES- CHARTER CHANGE TO PERMIT SCHOOL DISTRICTS, WASHINGTON AND RAMSEY COUNTIES, TO PARTICIPATE AS NON- VOTING MEMBERS, AND APPROVING THE ?JA~1E CHANGE OF THE LEAGUE TO THE RAMSEY COUNTY LEr~GTJE OF LOCAL GOVERNMENTS Councilman Black seconded the foregoing Resolution, and upon a vote being taken, the fcllowing voted in favor thereof : ~•Zayor '~~arkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: None. Motion carried. Councilman Steele moved, seccrided by Councilman Labalestra, to authorize FIRE DEPARTMENT Clerk-Administrator Barnes to purchase Fire Department radios for the set RADIO PURCHASE price of $1,200.00 Upon a vote being ta'xen, the following voted ''aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. The Council noted that on March 10, 1975, there would be a public hearing METRO COUNCIL with John Boland, Chairman of the Metro Council. PUBLIC HEARING The Metropolitan Transit Co:~mission's letter and material on the new bus METRO TRANSIT fees and scheuules were noted by the Council. Dean Anklan's letter on County limitations, for Municipal work, such as COUNTY LIMITATIO] snow plowin6 and sanding, was noted by the Council, and that such limitations LETTER - ANi~LAN must not exceed $2,500.00 Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, to adjourn the ADJOURNMENT meeting at 12:12 a.m. Upon a vote being taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilman Slack, Ecklund, Steele, -and Labalestra, and the following voted "nay": None.
