~~~ <br />f~ <br />6 <br />Councilman Black presented the request for a variance <br />to erect a fence !~2 inches high 80 feet along the north <br />property line within the front yard setback on property <br />owned by Stanley Schultz, 1725 North Fry Street. The <br />variance had bean recommended for approval by the Planning <br />Commission at their meeting of September 10, 1975, according <br />to the minutes of that meeting. <br />VARIANCE <br />REQUEST <br />STANLEY SCHULTZ <br />1725 N. FRY ST. <br />i_ <br />1 <br />Stanley Schultz stated his reason for the 42 inch fence was <br />to control people walking through his yard and felt that a <br />30 inch fence would not solve this problem. <br />After discussion of the proposed fence variance, the follow- <br />ing motion was made. Moved by Councilman Black that the <br />fence variance request for Stanley Schultz, 1725 North Fry <br />Street, be denied because of lack of neighbor's approval. <br />The motion died for lack of a second. <br />Moved by Councilman Steele, seconded by Councilman Labalestra, <br />to approve the variance to construct a fence !~2 inches high <br />80 feet along the north property line within the front yard <br />setback as request®d by Stanley Schultz, 1725 North Fry Street. <br />Upon a vote being taken, the folldwing voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele, axed Labalestra, and <br />the following voted "nay's: Councilman Black. Motion carried. <br />Bob Ritchie, 1767 Fry, stated he had heard that only three FIRE <br />fireanen had answered a recent fire call and wondered if this LEPARTMENT <br />was true. Councilman Steele answered that reports submitted <br />from the Fire Department had never indicated this happening <br />Mr. Ritchie asked if there was a regulation requiring firemen <br />to reside in Falcon Heights. Councilman Steele replied they <br />could r®side elsewhere as long as they could respond to calls <br />and training sessions as necessary. <br />Councilman Black presented a review of the variance request VARIANCE <br />from Mando Photo Compat~, 1790 West Larpenteur, in order to REQUEST <br />expAnd their building. Council afireed there was a lack of MANDO PHOTO CO. <br />supportive details for the request. Motion by Councilman 1790 W LARFENTEUR <br />Black, seconded by Councilman Ecklund to table action on <br />the Mando Photo Compangr variance request until more detailed <br />information was submitted. Upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following voted s'nay+': <br />None. Motion carried. <br />
