MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 22, 1977 nc~ <br />Page 2 9 ~+ ~~ <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Labalestra POLLING SITES <br />to establish the City Election hours of 12:00 noon to <br />8:.00 p.m. on November 8, 1977 and to approve the following <br />polling places: <br />1. PRECINCT 1 - City Hall - 1644 Larpenteur <br />2. PRECINCT 2 - Como Park Luthern Church-1547 Sheldon <br />3. PRECINCT 3 - Falcon Heights Elementary-1393 Garden <br />4. PRECINCT 4 - Commonwealth Terrace Comm. Center <br />1250 Fifield Place <br />rl <br />LJ <br />[] <br />Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, Labalestra and McGough. <br />The following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Council discussed the request of the St. Paul Association ST. PAUL <br />for Retarded Citizens for funds in 1978. Councilman Steele ASSOCIATION <br />moved, seconded by Councilman Black to review each appli- <br />cant requesting funds to participate in the program and <br />decide at that time the amount to be provided in the year <br />1978. Upon a vote being taken the following voted "aye". <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, Labalestra and <br />McGough. The following voted "nay": None Motion carried. <br />to perform snow removal services for the 1977-1978 winter <br />season and install load limit signs in the spring of 1978 at <br />the same time they install county load limit signs. Upon <br />a vote being taken the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien <br />Councilmen Black, Steele, Labalestra and McGough. and the <br />following voted "nay": None. Motion carried. <br />Councilman Steele moved, seconded by Councilman Black to SNOW REMOVAL <br />direct the Clerk Administrator to request Ramsey County SERVICES <br />There was a discussion by council regarding a request HARVEY <br />to delay parking lot repair from Harvey Investment/ INVESTMENT: <br />Cchen property. Council reviewed the situation and it COHEN REQUEST <br />was decided that they be required to comply with FOR DELAY - <br />Ordinance 139. Clerk Administrator Barnes was requested PARKING LOT <br />to write Harvey Investment and advise them their request REPAIR <br />has been denied and that they will have to comply with <br />Ordinance 139. Maryor Warkentien moved, seconded by <br />Councilman Labalestra. Upon a vote being taken the following <br />voted "aye: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Steele, <br />Labalestra and McGough and the following voted "nay": <br />None. Motion carried. <br />
