MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 2 2, 19 7 7 9 6 ~,/ <br />Page 6 <br />Mrs. Helen Brown, 1827 Hamline, representing the League LEAGUE OF <br />of Women Voters reported to council that an Energy Meeting .WOMEN VOTERS <br />will be held September 26, 1977 at 7:30 p.m. at the Falcon <br />Heights City Hall and all are invited to attend. <br />Mayor Warkentien noted to council the certificate received CERTIFICATE <br />by Vincent WRight of our maintenance department, for the VINCENT <br />completion of a program in the Operation and Maintenance WRIGHT <br />of Wastewater Collection Systems. Clerk Administrator <br />Barnes was requested to have Vincent Wright appear before <br />council for presentation of the certificate at the October <br />13, 1977 meeting. <br />Councilman Labalestra moved, seconded by Councilman Black ADJOURNMENT <br />to postpone adjournment past the 11:00 p.m. deadline and POSTPONMENT <br />go to 11:30 p. m. Upon a vote the following voted "aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and <br />Labalestra. The following voted"nay": None Motion <br />carried. <br />Fire Chief Jerry Renchin submitted to council the Fire FIRE DEPT. <br />Department Budget for 1978 for consideration. Council BUDGET: <br />advised him they would review it later on during the JERRY RENCHIN <br />meeting. <br />Council discussed the 1978 budget for the remainder of BUDGET <br />the alloted time in the adjournment motion made. It was <br />decided that there would be a further discussion of the <br />budget on September 28, 1977. <br />Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Steele to ADJOURNMENT <br />adjourn the meeting at 11:30 p.m. Upon a vote being <br />taken, the following voted "aye": Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, McGough, Steele and Labalestra.
