MEETING OF MARCH 25, 1971 <br />3053 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following members <br />present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Stone and Taylor. Also present <br />were Clerk Printon, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Seed. Absent was Councilman <br />Black. <br />Minutes: Ecklund moved that the minutes of the March 11, 1971 <br />meeting be approved as written. Stone seconded and the <br />motion carried. <br />Correspondence: Various letters of correspondence were read and ordered <br />filed. <br />Mr. David Anderson - David A. Anderson, 1512 West Idaho Avenue was present to <br />Widening of Arona discuss the widening of Arona Avenue from California to <br />from California to Hoyt Avenue. Stone moved that the Village Clerk be <br />Hoyt Avenue: directed to write a letter to property owners abutting <br />Arona Avenue to ascertain their wishes concerning the <br />reconstruction of Arona to a width of L~0 feet and instal- <br />ling curb and gutter. Taylor seconded and the motion <br />carried. <br />Village Office Taylor moved that the Village Clerk be authorized to <br />Remodeling Bids: advertise for bids to remodel the Village Office. Bids <br />to be opened at the meeting of April 22, 1971. Warkentien <br />seconded and the motion carried. <br />Motion Amended: Taylor moved that the motion to advertise for bids be <br />amended to include an alternate bid for construction of <br />a raised platform and council table.
