3092 <br />MEETIiVG OF SEPTEMBER 23, 1971 <br />The regular meeting; was called to order at 8:00 P.P~1. with the folloi~7ing members <br />present: Councilmen Black, Ecltlund and Taylor. Also present were Engineer Lemberg <br />and Attorney Seed. Absent were I~iayor 'v~arkentien and Councilman Stone. <br />Minutes: Ecklund moved that the minutes of the September 9, 1971 <br /> meeting be approved as corrected. Black seconded and the <br /> motion carried. <br />TOPICS Er~;ineer Lemberg was directed to attend a meeting of the <br />Program Iieeting: TOPICS Program being; held at the County Highway Department <br /> Friday, September 2J~, 1971 at 9:00 A.I•. <br />"CATV" I•eeting : A letter was read regaraiz~ A Special I•Ieet.ng to study aspects <br /> of "C:1TV" beint; held ~°dednesday, September 29, 1971 at 7:3G <br /> P.i. at Brookl~m Center City Hall. <br />DOUb1P, Home Art Jur~enson, 1301 Cannon, appeared at the meeting to <br />Con.~truction - discuss the construction of a double home at the property <br />1711 North Albert: located at 1711 North Albert. Black moved that the appli- <br /> cation for a double home submitted by Art Jurgenson, for <br /> the property at 1711 I3or-th Albert be approved su'oject to <br /> the recommendation of the Village Engineerin regards to <br /> the driveway and parking and with the further understanding <br /> that the driveway be constructed not less than five feet <br /> from the south property line. Ecklund seconded and the <br /> motion carried. <br />Drainage Ditch tlrs. J. Kernmer, 1768 Tatum Street, appeared at the meetit~; <br />Problem: to discuss a drainage problem. Ecklund moved that the <br /> Vi1:]_a.g,e :engineer be instructed to make a recommendation <br /> and report regarding the drainage on the east side of <br /> Tatum Street between Kemmer's, 1768 Tatum and Beak's, <br /> 1776 Tatum. <br />Liquor License Diary A. nester, 1917 St. Anthan~r, St. Paul, P'iinnesota, <br />Application: organizer and operator of the S-,v-it~ing Adult Singles Club, <br />submitted a letter requesting a liquor license to operate <br />a supper club in Falcon Heights. <br />Youth Hockey Six members of the youth hockey colunittee were present to <br />Com=nittee Present: discuss the youth hockey rink const~.uction on the Falcon <br />i~•Joods playground. The members will appear at the Special <br />i-leeting of September 30, 1971 at 9:30 P.Ti. to discuss <br />further the construction and costs. <br />Falcon Heights Ecklund :roved that the Village authorize a study by Robert <br />Prunicipal Liquor Ackerman and Associates, as represented by Harold Hanson, <br />Operation Study: to be made of the tentative Falcon Heights I~iunicipal Lic,uor <br />Operation, the study to include traffic su~^trey and buildings <br />presently available along with a study of proposed new <br />construction, cost of the study not to exceed X1000. <br />Taylor seconded and the motion carried. <br />
