3117 <br />Letter to A letter from Joseph Destito, 1133 G~dest California Avenue <br />Joseph Destito - was read and discussed regarding sidewalk and curb at his <br />1133 yti'est California residence. Mayor ~~arkentien moved, seconded by Councilman <br />Avenue: Stone, that Clerk-Administrator Barnes and Engineer Lemberg <br />be authorized to write a letter to explain that no change <br />can be made to the sidewalk and cu:^b at his residence. <br />I~iotion carried. <br />Insurance Bids TYte insurance bids scheduled to be awarded at the meeting <br />Ta'oied: were tabled for snore clarification on personal injury <br />amounts from the Paul Breher Company, to be brought up at <br />the meeting of December 2~, 1971. <br />Limited Parking Signs - Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution <br />Lindig and Tatum at and moved its adoption: <br />Larpenteur .:venue - <br />s,esolution 71-15: LL~ITE:D PARKING SIGNS - LINDIG AND TATUM <br />STI%EE'PS AT LAi~.P~JTEUti AVr,NU~ <br />L~Ii~z~.E_AS, parking on Lindig and Tatum Streets have <br />created hardships on adjacent property owners and it is <br />the intent of the Council to minimize these hardships, <br />NOG:, THERr~~FORE, BE IT ~~ESOLVED, by the Village Council <br />of Falcon Heights, that limited parking signs be erected <br />as follows: <br />1. Post the east side of the street on Tatum for <br />''No Parking'' from Larpenteur Avenue 375 feet north. <br />2. Post the west side of `Datum from Larpenteur 300 <br />feet north, "Two Hour Parking" 8:00 A.M. to x.:00 P.hi. <br />except Sundays and Holidays. <br />3. Post both sides of Lindig Street from Larpenteur <br />north 300 feet 'Two Hour Parking" 8:00 A.M. to ~:GO P.I~i. <br />except Sundays and Holidays. <br />4. .instruct the proper authorities to be strict on <br />not a11ozY-irtg vehicles to be parked either wholly or <br />par`~ly on the boulevard, since this causes considerable <br />damage that is costly to repair and detracts from the <br />aesthetics of the area. <br />I~ <br />The motion for the foregoir>v resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Taylor, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the followit~a voted in favor thereof : I~iayor '~varkentien, <br />Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone and Taylor, and the fol- <br />iowirtg voted against: None. ti^,h ereupon the Resolution was <br />declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Sevier Rate Change - .Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to <br />Ordinance No. 113: adopt Ordinance No. 113. <br />AN OR.DIN.4NCE REGULATING THE RATE CHANGES OF THii; <br />S~'4~rEt~.
