<br />Fire Dept, Clerk-Administrator Barnes reported that he had a <br />Report me®ting with Fire Chief Helbig and that he had requested <br />Clerk-Admin. that washing of cars be limited to those on duty only. <br />It was likewise requested that if they did wash their <br />cars they tiaere required to clean up the fire station <br />afterwards. <br />Clerk-Administrator Barnes reported to the Council in <br />respect to liability insurance on an ambulance used <br />by Victor Vainovskis, <br />Motion by Councilman Taylor, seconded by Councilman <br />Black directing the Clerk Administrator to write a <br />letter to Victor Vainovskis advising him not to use <br />the siren or emergency. lights on the ambulance when <br />reporting to afire or emergency call and. to obey all <br />traffic regulations when reporting to such calls in <br />the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />Municipal State Engineer Lemberg mentioned to the Council that con- <br />Aid Report. sideration should ba made in respect to designating <br />soma street in the Village as a State Aid Project, <br />Garden Avenue may soon be turned back to the Village <br />by the County. A discussion ensued as to which street <br />might be most suitable. The Engineer was directed to <br />inquire as to when the County would turn Garden Avenue <br />back and.. it was suggest®d a traffic count be made on <br />several stye®ts bef ore a decision would be mad®. <br />Councilman Taylor read fire reports 72-5&6, <br />Snow Removal The Clerk Administrator was directed to make a <br />Sidewalks study for a proposed Sidewalk Snow Removal <br />Study. Ordinance. <br />The Clerk Administrator was directed to have all <br />crosswalks cleaned by i~Ir. Jim Hoe1 and to have the <br />Village Inspector inform the property owners that <br />the Village would open them this tame and hereafter <br />they must keep them cleared. <br />'72 Seal Coating Ezzgizeur Leznborg recuested the U,~~~nc:~_1 to consider <br />and Maintenance the 1972 :paintenanco and seal coating program in the <br />Program. Northwest quadrant of the Village. <br />Tlotion by Councilman Ecklund~ seconded by Councilman <br />Black to approve and authorize the engineer to prepare <br />plans and specifications for the maintenance and <br />seal coating program for 1972 in the Northwest quadrant <br />of the Village of Falcon heights. notion carried.. <br />G•=ncral Motion by Co~.:ncilman Ecklund., seconded by Councilman <br />Disb urssments. Black to approve they General Disbursement ending <br />February 10~ 1972 in the amount of ~26,226.~39. <br />NIotion carried. <br />
