.. 17 <br />MINUPES OF REGULAR COtTNCIL MEETING <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />MARCH 9, 1972 <br />A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Council was called to order bq Magor <br />Warkentien at 7:30 P.M. <br />PRESENT: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Ecklnnd and Stone. Also present were Clerk- <br />Ac~ainistrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Seed. <br />ABSENT: Councilmen Black and Taylor. <br />MINITrES: Motion bq Councilman Ecklund, seconded bq Councilman Stone, <br />to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of February <br />2l~, 1972, with the following amendments: <br />Page 2, paragraph 1, should read "Dr. C. Gustav Hard". <br />Page 2, paragraph 2, should read "Councilman Taylor moved, <br />seconded by Mayor Warkentien, that the Clerk-Ada:ini.strator <br />be authorized to purchase four copies of 2972 Directorq <br />of Minnesota Municipal Officers at four dollara each." <br />Motion carried. <br />Page 2, paragraph 3, line lt, after play area add "and <br />extends beyond the front building line" and delete "set <br />back approxiunatelq five feet from the front propertq line". <br />Page 2, paragraph 5, delete "that permission be given to <br />purchase a" and insert "the purchase of". <br />Page 3, paragraph 2, line l~, add "maximum" before the word <br />cost and add "a" before the word "license". <br />Page 3, paragraph 7, line 2, delete the word "on" and add <br />the word "of" before Garden Avenue and add after the last <br />sentence "No action was taken". Motion carried. <br />Bus Stop and A letter submitted bq Metro Transit Operating Division was <br />Sign Installation reviewed bq Engineer Lenberg concerning the pxnposed bus <br />Request: route stops for Falcon Heights. Discussion of the routing <br />of Metro Transit Commission listed in the letter is as <br />follows West on Larpenteur s~th stops on Fry Street, <br />Fairview, Cleveland, then north on Cleveland to Roselawn, <br />east on Roselawn to Autumn, Tatum, Fairvie~t, Snelling. <br />Maqor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />that the Clerk-Ac~ninistrator be directed to reply to the <br />letter of March 3, 1972, frown Charles W. Croft, Metro <br />Transit Coanaission, suggesting bus stop locations and sign <br />installation pointing out the proposed bus stops and further <br />stating that bus stop signs are available to the Village at <br />no cost to the Village if the Village will install said <br />stops. <br />
