He <br />also said that a number of weddings have been held in the <br />area and none of the cars attending the weddings had to <br />park in the front yards. <br />Mr. Croft, 1700 St. Mary's Street, can't see why be can't <br />be allowed to earn a little extra money to help pay taxes. <br />He said people are looking for more spots to park. <br />Mr. Schirrmei ster, 1779 Tatum Street, stated that he does <br />not have parking in his yard but he would agree to it. <br />Mr. Schultz, 1725 Fry Street, said he couldn't care less <br />about the parking of cars himself except that youngsters <br />should be able to make a few extra dollars. He helped <br />children take care of the parking which was a fob he didn't <br />appreciate. He said at least 8 or 10 families used their <br />yards for parking of cars on Fry Street during Fair time. <br />He also said the turn around by Robert Hall deteriorated <br />the area more than the 10 days of parking in yards at <br />Fair time. <br />Councilman Taylor moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, to <br />authorize the Village Attorney to draw up an ordinance to <br />amend ordinance No. 8 pertaining to the prohibiting of <br />parking of cars in areas other than surfaced areas. <br />Councilman Taylor amended his motion to prohibit the park- <br />ing of cars in the front yard. Motion carried. <br />Tree Repair Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to <br />Contract: authorize the Northland Tree Service to proceed with trim- <br />ming and cabling of trees in Falcon Heights as listed on <br />Dr. Hard's report. Motion carried. <br />Sanitary Sewer Clerk-Administrator Barnes reported on the cost quotations <br />Maintenance submitted by three sewer cleaning services. Councilman <br />Contract: Stone moved that the matter of sanittary sewer maintenance <br />be tabled until the meeting of April 13, 1972. Councilman <br />Ecklund seconded and the motion carried. AYES: Councilmen <br />Black, Ecklund, Stone, Taylor. NAY: Mayer Warkentien. <br />Garden Park Mr. John Quast, Chairman, Mr. Wayne Sorenson, and Mr. James <br />Playground McGuire, members of the recreation advisory committee were <br />Report from present at the meeting to discuss recommendations for the <br />Recreation Garden Park Site.
