.~~, <br />Fry Street Curb Pursuant to advertisement of Public Hearing of Curb and <br />and Gutter Hearing - Gutter Improvement on Fry Street to be held on July 13, <br />Resolution 72-18: 1972, the following Resolution was introduced by Councilman <br />Stone and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 72-18 <br />RESOLUTION OT?DERING STREET Il~IPROVEP7ENT <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Mayor tiā¢Jarkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, and <br />the following voted against: None, whereupon the Resolu- <br />tion was declared duly passed and adopted.. <br />Awarding Contract Engineer Lemberg presented the tabulation of Bids,at which <br />on Street Improve- time Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution <br />ment of 1972 - and moved its adoption: <br />Northwest quadrant - <br />Resolution 72-19: RESOLUTIOTd 72-19 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR 1972 STREET <br />Il~lPROVEhSEnTT TO BITUMINOUS ROAD4dAYS, 2825 <br />CEDAR AVENUE, MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />r~iayor ti°Jarkentien, Councilman Black, Ecklund, Stone, and the <br />following voted against: None, whereupon the Resolution <br />was declared duly passed and .adopted. <br />Recreation Report: Miss Pat Rizzi,Summer Recreatli.on Director was present to <br />report on the progress of the summer recreation program. <br />She stated it was going along smoothly. The senior citizen's <br />membership needs to be enlarged some, only 6 attended the <br />first meeting. The field trips (three so far) were high- <br />lights of the youngsters programs. There was strong attend- <br />ance at all playgrounds. University Grove had about 30-35 <br />per day, Falcon Woods about 35-~0 per day, Falcon Heights <br />School about 70-80 per day.
