e) MINUTES OF .REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA JULY 2 7, 19 72 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 8:00 P.M. PRESENT: Mayor tiJarkentien, Councilmen Black, Stone, Taylor. Also present were Clerk-Ac~ni.nistrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, Attorney Seed and newly appointed Councilwoman Stocker. ABSENT: Councilman Ecklund Minutes: Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Black, to approve the minutes of the special meeting of July 6, 1972, as corrected. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of July 13, 1972, as corrected. Motion carried. Variance Request - Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Stone, 172l~ North Holton: that the variance application submitted by Martin Christian- sen, 172l~ North Holton, to permit an area 8' by 18' to be enclosed on two sides by a 6' high fence, the 8' section of fence to be located Ia' beyond the front of the home, be referred to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Motion carried. Building Permit Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, Application - 151Gl~ that the building permit application submitted by Macey West Larpenteur Sign Company, for the Dawson Real Estate Company, at 15L~ Avenue: West Larpenteur Avenue, to erect a V-type roof mounted sign extending 6' out from the wall, be ref erred to the Clerk-Administrator for purposes of obtaining a variance, because sign protrudes out 6' from the wall, and then to be submitted to the Planning Commission for recommendation. Motion carried. Variance Request - Motion by Councilman Black, seconded by Councilman Taylor, 1550 tivest that the variance application submitted by Clement A. Larpenteur Avenue: Lehnen, 1550 T,o`est Larpenteur Avenue, to add to a present sign be sent back to Mr. Lehnen for more accurate diagram and information, and then referred to the Planning Commis- sion for recommendation. Motion carried. "No Parking" Signs Motion by Councilman Stone, seconded by Councilman Taylor, to be Posted Along that the Clerk-Administrator be directed to request Ramsey Both Sides of Larpenteur Avenue County to post "No Parking" Larpenteur Avenue, from Fry signs along both sides of Street to Fairview Avenue, During Fairtime: during Fairtime from August 25, 1972 thru September ~., 1972. Motion carried.
