Liquor Liability - Home Insurance $506.04 <br />Fire (Village Hall -Liquor Store)- Home $881.00 <br />Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilman Stone, to <br />award the contracts for insurance to the Paul J. Breher <br />Company, on the basis of the bids indicated above. Motion <br />carried. <br />Liquor Store Progress Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented the Council some <br />Report: sales data to date on the liquor store. Ways of improving <br />the appearance of the liquor store were discussed in detail, <br />and were tabled, until a later date. It was decided to look <br />into the purchase of an advertising banner, a coat rack, <br />and a small table, and also have Attorney Kenefick contact <br />the Minnesota Liquor Control Commission and inquire about <br />advertising for. the liquor store. <br />Letter from Milo F. Mayor Warkentien moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, to <br />Gaul -Extended Services appoint Councilwoman Stocker to serve on the Community <br />Division of the Roseville Council of the Extended Services Division of the Roseville <br />Area Schools: Area Schools. Motion carried. <br />Maintenance Garage Engineer Lemberg reported on the progress of the Maintenance <br />Progress Report: Garage addition. He stated that the ceiling in the Fire <br />Station has been completed, and that the furnace conversion <br />has been made. He also stated that Gladstone Improvement <br />Company, who have been contracted to do the work on the <br />garage, will start sometime after the holidays. <br />Parks & Recreation Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented the Council with some <br />Report: information on the upkeep of the rinks and the rink attendants <br />for the 1972-1973 season. Councilwoman Stocker reported on <br />the Recreation Advisory Committee meeting of Tuesday, December <br />12, 1972. <br />Arden Hills Investment Clerk-Administrator Barnes presented a list of suggestions <br />Co., Apartment at 1$30 that the p1umT~ing inspector and building inspector made in <br />W. Larpenteur: regard to the proposed apartment at 1830 W. Larpenteur Avenue, <br />and it was ag~Eed by the Council, as per minutes of the <br />November 20 meeting, that a building permit be granted, <br />sub3ect to the Engineer's letter of November 20, 1972, and <br />the suggestions of the Consulting Engineer's Council of <br />Minnesota. <br />TOPICS Program - Engineer Lemberg presented some information on the TOPICS <br />Larpenteur Avenue Program. He stated that the matter has been tabled by the <br />Improvement: Ramsey County Board for the time being because of disputes <br />with residents along Larpenteur Avenue. He also stated <br />that the County would have enough hardware to replace two <br />out of the four sets of disconnected stop lights until the <br />new ones arrive, which would be sometime next spring. <br />Expiring Terms: Clerk-Administrator Barnes brought to the Council's attention <br />that the terms of several members of various committees in the <br />Village, will expire at the end of the month. <br />Fire Report: Fire report number t~7 was noted. <br />Sheriff's Report: Sheriff's report of November was noted. <br />
