The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Black. Motion carried. <br />1 <br />Liquor Store - Councilman Stone introduced-the following resolution and <br />Liquor Store Parking moved its adoption: <br />Only Signs: <br />RESOLUTION 72-55 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF AT LEAST <br />TWO LIQUOR STORE PARKING ONLY SIGNS <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilman Black, Motion carried. <br />1 <br />1 <br />Letter from Sun A letter of apology from Fred Grant, Sales Representative <br />Newspapers: of Sun Newspapers, regarding the error made by that paper in <br />the ad for the Falcon Heights Municipal Liquor Store on <br />December 20, 1972, was read by Mayor Warkentien. <br />Letter from Milo Gaul - Mayor Warkentien read a letter from Milo F. Gaul, regarding <br />Model Project for the Model Project for Community School Directors. The <br />Community School letter explained that due to lack of funds this project <br />Directors: will not be completed this year. <br />Insurance - Attorney Kenefick commented on a telephone call he received <br />Youth Hockey Program: from Don Drach of the Falcon Heights Youth Hockey Association <br />inquiring about insurance for the Hockey Association. <br />Attorney Kenefick stated that he had written to Paul J. <br />Breher of the Breher Company, asking if the Association is <br />or can be covered under Village insurance policies, but as <br />of the meeting had received no reply. <br />Advertising - Attorney Kenefick presented some information on advertising <br />Liquor Store: for the Liquor Store. He stated that no flyers could be <br />handed out, yet they could be mailed. Also, no prices can <br />be advertised. A11 advertising publications must be approved <br />in advance, by the State Liquor Control Commissioners Office. <br />Sewer Connection A model ordinance, drafted by Attorney Kenefick on sewer <br />Charges: connection charges, was tabled until the next meeting to <br />allow clarification of some minor details concerning these <br />charges . <br />Publication of Agenda: The Council decided that Clerk-Administrator Barnes be <br />authorized to release ite:r-s of public interest from the <br />Council Agenda, in the newspapers. <br />Fire Reports: Fire reports numbers ~.8 and I~9 were noted. <br />Payroll: Councilman Ecklund moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to <br />approve the payroll for the period ending December 31, 1972, <br />in the amount of $2,082.62. Motion carried. <br />General Disbursements: Councilwoman Stoeker moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, <br />to approve the general disbursements for the period ending <br />December 3l, 1972, in the amount of $17,1~22.1~1~. Motion <br />carried. <br />
