MIPNTES OF REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING FALCOPI HEIGHTS, MINT~]ESOTA JAPNARY 25, 1973 A regular meeting of the Falcon Heights Village Council was called to order by Mayor Warkentien at 7 :1~0 P .M . PRESERjT: Mayor ti^7arkentien, Councilman Black, Councilwoman Stocker. Councilman Stone arrived at 10:11 P.T~t. after attending a League of Minnesota Municipalities meeting on property taxes. Also present were Clerk-Administrator Barnes, Engineer Lemberg, and Attorney Kenefick. ABSENT: Councilman Ecklund. Minutes: Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, to approve the minutes of the meeting of January 11, 1973, as corrected. P•4otion carried. Variance Request The variance request by Universal Signs for the National Surplus National Surplus Store was delayed until the next meeting upon written request of Store: NTr. Phil Barber, owner of the Tational Surplus Store. Subdivision of the Councilman Black moved, seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to authorize Stewart Property: the Clerk-Administrator to arrange for publication of the notice of hearing in reference to the subdivision of land at 1761 PJ. Fairview Avenue, and that said hearing be held at 8:00 P.M., at the Village Tiall, on the night of the regular meeting of February 8, 1973. notion carried. Conditional Use Councilman Black moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker to Gerrit Timmers approve the request of Mr. Gerrit Timmers, 1523 W. Hoyt, to 1523 W. Hoyt: install a steel utility building in his yard at said address, and that said building would not require a conditional use fee. Motion carried. Display Fixtures - Mr. John Bergstedt, of Display Fixtures, 1966 Benson Avenue, Payment of Pro- was present at the meeting to discuss the payment of the pro- f essional Fees: fessional fees for plans and specifications for Municipal Liquor Store fixtures. Councilwoman Stocker moved, seconded by Councilman Black, to approve the payment in the amount of $1,189.75. P~:otion carried. Lindig Property - Councilman Black moved, ,.seconded by Mayor Warkentien, to 1875 W. Larpenteur: authorize the Clerk-Administrator to publish legal notice of a public hearing to consider a proposed amendment to Ordinance #6l~, providing a conditional use for greenhouses under R-3, for greenhouse sales and retail products. Tdotice shall stipulate that a public hearing will be held before the Planning Commission on Tuesday, February 20, 1973, at 8:00 P.AT., and before the Village Council at a regular meeting of February 22, 1973, at 8:00 P.M. Motion carried.
