The ordinance pertaining to peddlers, mobile vehicles, <br />and itinerant merchants was tabled until the meeting of <br />~?ovember 2~, 1973. <br />ORDI:`1ANCE 130 <br />AT1 ORDI^dA.T1CE FIXIn1G THE SALARIES OF THE MAYOR AND <br />COUTICILT~EMBERS OF THE VILLAGE COUTICIL OF THE VILLAGE <br />OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Councilman B1a ck moved, seconded by Councilwoman Stocker, <br />to adopt the foregoing ordinance. Upon a vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Rlayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and <br />Councilt~TOman Stocker. Councilman Stone abstained. <br />T~~otion carried. <br />Attorney Kenefick presented a report on the matter of <br />holding the Village elections in odd or even numbered <br />years. He stated that he still maintains that the <br />Village can take action on this anytime before <br />September 1, 1971. <br />T?ayor Wark entien moved, seconded by Councilmen Ecklund, <br />that Councilwoman Stocker be authorized to attend the <br />workshop on urban growth and community development <br />from November 26, 1973 to November 30, 1973, at the <br />Ramada Inn, and that the Village pay the $60.00 <br />registration fee. TJpon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker, <br />Councilman Stone voted against the same. T!~otion carried. <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Blacl{, <br />to accent the horticulturist's tree report as submitted. <br />Fire re-port number ~.5 was noted. <br />Councilman Stone moved, seconded by Councilman Ecklund, <br />to arnrove the general payroll for the first half of <br />?~?oaember, 1973, in the amount of $3,012.19.
