SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CANVASSING BOARD <br />canvassing Board Meeting -December b, 1973 <br />A special meeting of the Canvassing Board was called to order with the following <br />members present: Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Stone. <br />The Clerk Administrator read the following election returns: <br />Special Election -Park Referendum <br />"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights be authorized to borrow money on the <br />authority of its general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed <br />u100,000.00 for the purposes of park improvement:" <br />Yes 781 No 526 <br />On mono:: by 1~-~ , seconded by _ , <br />it was voted by the Councilmembers acting as Canvassing Board that said proposition <br />was duly passed by a majority vote of the electors, and the Clerk-Administrator <br />was instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br />Special Election - Split Liquor Issue <br />"Shall the Village of Falcon Heights be authorized to issue on-sale liquor <br />licenses to private persons in con unction with a hotel or restaurant as <br />defined in Minnesota Statutes 30.07?" <br />• Yes 83l~ No I~80 <br />On motion by ~C~IG'~~ , seconded by '`~~ , <br />it was voted by the Councilmembers acting as Canvassing Board that said proposition <br />was duly passed by a majority vote of the electors, and the Clerk-Administrator <br />was instructed to certify said election returns to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br />~~ ~~ .__ . <br />~..- ~~ ~~-cL1 ~-~I ~ ~ <br />CHARLES P.
