Statute I~38.]-1 and <br />full time fire department employees being given payment <br />of reasonable per diem while in attendance at Minnesota <br />State Fire School. <br />Fire Department Ecklund reviewed reports of calls made by the fire <br />Reports: department. Letters from Ingrid Jensen and also <br />from Elmer Weltzin were expressions of appreciation <br />to Fire Department for first aid administered and <br />extinguishing fire. <br />Purchase Requisition: Ecklund moved., seconded by Stone that Purchase <br />Requisition #68-2 for 1 MSA Helmet complete with Eng. <br />#1 Shield, Chin Strap, and lidinter Liner at $17.50 and <br />1 New Type Spannar Belt at $10.00 be granted and Fire <br />Department is authorized to. purchase same. Ayest, <br />Warkentien, Black, Ecklund and Stone. Nays:, None. <br />Motion was carried. <br />Subscriptions to Eeklund moved, seconded by Stone that subscriptions to <br />Smoke Eater Publication the publication Smoke-Eater be renewed for 26 <br />Renewed: subscriptions at a total cost of X39.00. Ayes: <br />Warkentien, Stone, Ecklund and Black. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to <br />be inserted in the official paper an advertisement for <br />bids upon the making of such improvement under such <br />approved plans and specifications. The advertisement <br />shall be published for ten days, shall specify the work <br />to be done, shall state that bids will be opened and <br />
