2 769 <br />Hamline Avenue Roseville Village Manager Richard Turnlund and <br />Water Fain: Public Works Engineer Sherman Goldberg were present <br />to discuss possibility of a point venture on <br />enlarging watermain on Hamline Avenue betv~een <br />Larpenteur and Garden Avenues. Engineer Lemberg <br />advised estimated cost is X6,500. Councilmen <br />reviexed past transactions between St. Paul Water <br />Department and Falcon Heights. It was opinion of <br />councilmen and Roseville representatives that a <br />point venture between the two villages would be <br />feasible. Turnlund's opinion was that the two <br />villages could enter into a contract and each pay <br />one half of the cost and Falcon Heights would <br />construct the main. It was suggested that the main <br />be installed on the Falcon Heights side of the street <br />and when .the present 3" galvanized main is no longer <br />operable, the residents would be able to hook onto <br />the new main. <br />Richard Turnlund and Engineer Lemberg will make <br />arrangements to meet with the St. Paul Water Dept. <br />regarding the above before proceeding with plans <br />for installation of sam®. <br />Investments to Falcon Warkentien moved, seconded by Black that file Village <br />Heights State Bank: Treasurer be authorized to handle investment of <br />village funds through the Falcon Heights State Bank <br />in lieu of through the First National Bank of St. <br />Paul. This mainly is for the convenience of the <br />village treasurer. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion <br />was carried. <br />Sinking Funds to be Ecklund moved, seconded by Stone that the Village <br />Consolidated into one Treasurer be authorized to consolidate the six sinking <br />Accounts fund accounts into one account, i.e., the follrnving <br />sinking fund accounts shall be combined and made one <br />whole account: <br />Larpenteur Ave. WaterMain & Pumping Station <br />FH Bank Account #1t0-038-61 <br />WaterMain and Sanitary Sewer Improvement 1963 <br />FH Bank Account #1~0-045-90 <br />Refunding Suer Improvement 1963 <br />FH Bank Account #1~0-038-96 <br />WaterMsin Improvement 1960 No. 1 <br />FH Bank Account #l~0-038-88 <br />Northeast Area. Storm Ssnrer Improvement 66 ]. <br />F'ii Bank Account #l~0-05-678 <br />Bond Improvements of 1967 <br />FH Bank Account #l~0-06-070 <br />The General Fund Account -FH Bank Account #40-038 53- <br />shall remain in a separate account. Upon a vote being <br />taken the following voted for same: Warkentien~ Stone,, <br />Ecklund and Black and the following voted against sames <br />None. Whereupon the resolution was declared passed. <br />
