2787 <br />MEETING OF OCTOBF~R. 10, 1968 <br />n <br />r_I <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmen Stone, Black and Eck land. Absent: Clerk Strandquist. Also <br />present were Attorney Seed, Engineer Lemberg axed Treasurer Olsen. <br />Minutes: Approval of minutes of meeting of September 26, 1968 <br />was held in abeyance. <br />Application for Al Troyer of Custom Pools, 909 Excelsior Avenue E., Hopkins, <br />Swimming Pool Permit Minnesota was present with an application for pool permit to <br />1136 West Laxpenteur be buildt east of and adjacent to 1I~36 West Larpenteur Avenue <br />Avenue: for Harry R. Olson, owner. Variance was submitted to build the <br />swimming pool to within eleven feet of the rear lot line. <br />Black moved, seconded by Ecklund that variance, as per plan <br />submitted, be referred to the Planning Commission for its <br />recommendation. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />Outdoor Advertising After review, ;"4Black moved, seconded by Stone that application for <br />Sign - Hillman a sign on building at 1526 West Larpenteur for Hillman Piano <br />Piano and Organ - and Organ Store be approved subject to review and approval <br />1526 West Larpenteur: by the Village I~ngineer. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion <br />was carried. <br />Election Judges BlacT~ moved, seconded by Ecklund and unanimously passed that the <br />General Election following persons be appointed as election judges for the <br />November 5, 1968: General Election to be held November 5, 1968 and tYiat locations <br />as listed below be designated as official polling places. <br />Precinct 1: Mrs. Ruth Martin Mrs. James Jaros <br />Tv7rs. Snelling <br />1 <br />Delinquent Sewer Stone introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />Rental Accounts adoption: <br />Certified to <br />County Auditor: BE IT :t~.i;SOLV1!;D by the Village Council of the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. It is hereby determined that there are delino~uent <br />sewer rental charges against the propertieshereinai'ter set <br />forth, in the amounts set forth opposite the description of <br />such properties. <br />
