SPECIAL MEETING OF November 16, 1968 2820 <br />Special Meeting was called to order at 9:45 A.M. Present were: Mayor Warkentein, <br />Councilmen Black, Stone, and Ecklund. Also present were Clerk Strandquist, Treasurer <br />Olsen and Enginear Lemberg. <br />Bids on Two Way Representatives of Air Com, Donner Communications and Motorola <br />Communication were present. Jerry Renchin, Volunteer Fireman, was present to <br />Radio: ask e;uestions of the bidders. <br />Upon inquiry, the following additional information was <br />presented: The cases were made of metal (Air Com), plastic <br />(Mobobola), and aluminum (Donner); the unit price would be <br />the same if ordered within six months; all units carry a <br />separate serial number. <br />It was pointed out that a major determining factor should <br />be Solid State Transistor in the monitors. <br />Ecklund moved to accept the low bid of Donner Communications <br />at the bid price of $6,230.00 with the Maintenance covering <br />the two mobile radio units for $5.00 per unit per month, a <br />total of $120 per year. The Mayor and Clerk are author3.zed <br />to enter into a contract with Donner Communications. Ayes: <br />Warkentein, Stone, Black and Ecklund. Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />Election Judges: Stone moved, Black seconded that the following people be approved <br />for Election Judges for the December 3, 196$ Village Election: <br />Precinct l: Mrs. Ruth Martin -Chairman <br />Mrs. Laura Rust <br />Mrs. James Jaros <br />Precinct 2: Mrs. Edward Johnson -Chairman <br />Mrs. Mary Lou Sturm <br />~``~---~~ Mrs. Rose Schmall <br />Precinct 3: Mrs. Gladys Mac Knight -Chairman <br />Mrs. Dorothy Rudolph <br />Mrs. Edna Mae Hughes <br />Precinct !t: Mrs. Betty Jones -Chairman <br />Mrs. Ruth Morris <br />Mrs. Eleanor Bourquin <br />F~nployees'A The Council also discussed employees' frin~ benefits.
