Liability & <br />Physical Damage 1 031.11 815.00 <br />707.00 1,292.7 1,92 .oo <br />Black moved that the Northland Insurance Agency, 6th Floor, <br />Hamm Building, St. Paul be awarded a contract for Workmen's <br />compensation coverage for the Village of Falcon Heights <br />comment ing January 1, 196q and expiring December 31, 1969 <br />on the basis of their low bid in the amount of $707.00. <br />Stone seconded. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. <br />Black moved, that the low bid submitted by the Vincent <br />R. Schadegg Agency covering Comprehensive General Liability <br />and Auto Liability and Physical Damages Insurance for the <br />Village of Falcon Heights in accordance with the specifications <br />recently prepared in the amount of $1,292.76 be accepted. <br />Stone seconded. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Nb tion carried. <br />Correspondence <br />Affidavit of Expend- D. Michael Noonan, newly elected Justice of the Peace, <br />itures: submitted an Affidavit of Expenditures for the past <br />election expenses he incurred. After investigation into <br />the laws of Minnesota, it was found that such a statement <br />is not required in Villages with a popation of less that 20,000.. <br />C. Pearson & Co.: Carl Pearson's letter of December 11, 1968 advised that the <br />work involved in the cut-off of T. Vavoulis and B. Kuefler <br />would be finished during the audit as it was a duplication <br />of effort at the present time. The Deputy Clerk was directed <br />to call his office and advise that the Council approved of this <br />action and would wait for the audit. <br />Ramsey County Memo from Ramsey County Juvenile Court dated December 10, <br />Juvenile Court: 1968 regarding new scrsdule of hearings in Juvenile Court. <br />Application for Variance application from Sussel Garage Company requested <br />Variance: locating garage at ].!.}38 W. Iowa two (2) feet from both the <br />side and rear property lines. Black moved, seconded by <br />Ecklund that the variance be referred to the Planning <br />Commission. Ayes: Unanimous. Motion carried. <br />Gas Installer License: Ecklund moved, Black seconded that the application for a <br />Master Gas Installer's hicense from Equipment Supply Compar~y <br />be approved provided that a $5,000 license bond is received <br />for the year 1968-9. Unanimous. Motion carried. <br />Stop Sign at Crawford Ecklund had asked Engineer Lemberg to check the position <br />and Snelling Drive: and height of subject stop sign. The Engineer sta ted that <br />the sign is in conformance with Highway Regulations. Ecklund then <br />asked Lemberg to check with the Highway Department for relocation. <br />Sewer Back-Up: Resident on Idaho called Dec. 6 about sewer back-up in basement. <br />The seweage back-up stated Dec. 5 in the evening and eventually <br />seeped into the paneling and caused much damage. It was caused <br />by an unexposed man hole in the street. The Village Council <br />agreed that if a claim was submitted to the Village for the <br />damage, it would be ref.exred to the Village insurer. <br />
