2875 <br />'Section 10. Permits. Permits required by the Fire <br />Prevention Code shall be issued only by the Village Clerk <br />or Deputy Clerk, after approval of the Chief of the Fire <br />Department or at~y other person designated by the Village <br />Council, and only after written application for the permit <br />has been made upon such forms as are required by the Council.-~ <br />Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be <br />enforced from and after its passage and publication according <br />to law. <br />Motion was duly seconded by Warkentien and unanimously passed. <br />Sewer Bill from Engineer advised the Council that James Reilly has submitted <br />James Reilly: a bill in the amount of $500 for sewer work done at Boyd's <br />first apartment. He relied upon the plans, as should be done, <br />and found that there was no stub where the plans showed. By <br />the time he dug around to see if the stub was misplaced, found <br />that there was no stub and put in a new line, the cost was $500. <br />Engineer stated that he felt he had a legitimate claim for <br />about $200. <br />Proposed Bill Engineer advised the Council it would be receiving a resume of <br />Relating to the House File 1177 relating to Trunk Highways and its effect <br />Trunk Highways: on the municipalities. He suggested that the Council eont act <br />its representatives and state its opposition to this proposed <br />bill as it is not in the best interest of the small municipalities. <br />Recreational Use Black moved, seconded by Warkentien that his proposed letter <br />of Falcon Heights be sent to Lloyd C. Neilsen, Superintendent of District 623 to <br />School Prop arty: follow-up his meeting of December l.ll., 1968 for use of the <br />school grounds for tennis courts. <br />Agenda - April 10: Recreation Committee will be present at the next Council <br />Meeting at 7:30 P.M. <br />Municipal Court Discussion was held in regard to proposed Municipal Court <br />Bill.: Bill. Council was not in favor of this bill as it does not <br />want to continually associate itself with St. Paul. It ~iid <br />not see any real advantage of said system for the Village of <br />Faleon Heights. <br />Arthur Lindig Arthur Lindig requested the results of the Lindig Property. <br />RE: Lindig Prop. The Couneil informed him that it was dismissed. He also <br />was curious as to when Lindig Street would go through. He <br />informed the Council that the house as it stands is not fit <br />to be lived in, nor could it be renovated. There is no plumbing <br />and the walls are not properly insulated according to Mr. Lindig. <br />Purchase Requisition Ecklund moved, seconded by Taylor, that the Fire Department <br />from Fire Departmento be authorized to purchase a 500 watt bulb and floodlight• <br />Motion carried unanimously. This equipment will be used on <br />the fire trucks. <br />1 <br />
