Seconded by Ecklund and motion carried. <br />Farmers Union GTA Ecklund moved that the Falcon Heights Fire Department be author- <br />Parking Lot Lease ized to enter into a lease with the Farmers Union Grain Terminal <br />for Fire Department Assn. of Falcon Heights for the sum of X1.00 for the use of <br />During State Fair: parking lot during the 5 days covering the week-ends during the <br />State Fair. Taylor seconded and the motion carried. <br />Applications for Ecklund moved that applications be approved for Frank Wandmacher <br />Volunteer Firemen: of 1687 N. Fry St. and ~~.obert Spiess of 1803 Eustis 5t. as vol- <br />unteer firemen by Village of Falcon Heights subject to passing <br />physical examination and six months probationary period. Taylor <br />seconded and motion carried. <br />T~orman cklund Black moved that application be approved for Norman Ecklund, <br />Volunteer Fireman: 191 Sumner St., as volunteer fireman by the Village of Falcon <br />Heights subject to passing physical examination and six months <br />probationary period. Stone seconded and motion carried. <br />K. I. Lolzen, 16i~5 Ecklund moved that the Village pay Keith I. Loken, 16t~5 Garden <br />Garden, reimbursement: Ave. the sum of X18.00 due to sewer line obstruction on June 18, <br />1969, this being the full and complete claim for this incident. <br />T-lotion seconded by Taylor and carried. <br />resignation of D. Taylor read letter of resignation from D. T~li.chael Noonan, Justice <br />T~iichael Noonan, of the Peace for Falcon Heights. Tt was suggested that Villge <br />Justice of the Clerk ask ~Jilliam P. Carroll, Justice of the Peace for Falcon <br />Peace: Heights, to take over until a new JP could be appointed. Attorney <br />' Seed said Council has the authority to appoint a successor. <br />Armor Coat Taylor moved that the second and final payment in the amount of <br />Payment: X500 be made to Armor Coat 3c Co. for the 1969 Village street and <br />alley maintenance project as recommended by Village Engineer. <br />Stone seconded and motion carried. <br />
