2931 <br />Letter from Ray King Taylor read a letter from Mr. Ray King, Independent <br />Regarding Tennis Courts: School District 623, giving the Village of Falcon <br />Heights formal approval to build a double teami.s court <br />on the Falcon Heights Elernerrtary School property, at <br />E~arden and Albert Street, to begin after the3.r addition <br />to the school building is finished. <br />Special Meeting: A special meeting will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, <br />December 6, 1969, to discuss the scope of work with <br />Carl Pearson, Village Auditor, aad the higher rate of <br />charges for the 1969 auditing. <br />Lerner from Wausau Homes: Black moved that the request by letter from the Wausau <br />Homes Incorporated, to use 3/8 inch thick Upson Board <br />for a home to be constructed on Lindig Avenue be de- <br />nied. The reason for denial is that it does not meet <br />the present Falcon He3.ghts bui].din$ code. Warkentien <br />seconded and motion carried. (Latter of explanation <br />was written to Wausau Homes Incorporated, and a copy <br />to Mi.chard Magnuson, Village building inspector.) <br />Siderwalk Assessment Taylor moved that the sidewalk assessment at 1376 West <br />Redueeds Iowa Avenue be revised in the amount of $19.77 to the <br />amount of $65.05. Stone seconded and motion carried. <br />Letter to Highway Taylor read a letter written to the Minnesota Highway <br />Department ; Department, by Engineer Lemberg, concerning the I~ani.e- <br />ipal State Aid Funds that have accumulated. The mone~r <br />is being held i.n reserve for future pm~ects 3.n Falcon <br />Heights. <br />Letter from City of St. Taylor read a letter from. Mr. Harry E. Marshall, St. <br />Paul, Bureau of Records: Paul City Clerk, requesting St. Paul's ne3.ghboring <br />m~icipalities to inform City of St. Paul on ar~r future <br />zoning matters. (Letter was written to Mr. Marshall <br />informing him that on all zonir~ matters within 200 <br />feet of the City of St. Paul, notification will be <br />forwarded to the appropriate person.) <br />Letter from County Taylor read a letter from. the County Auditor regarding <br />Auditors deferred assessments being paid to the County Treasurer <br />instead of the Village taking care of the payments i.n <br />the future. <br />Ordinance No. 98: Taylor moved that the Village adopt ©rdinance No. 98, <br />AN ORDINANCE REJ~ATING TO THE COLLECTION OF ASSESSMF~NT5 <br />FOR II+~R~OVF~NTS . Seconded by Eeklund and motion carried. <br />Reschedule Meeting Ecklund moved that we reset the regular meeting of <br />of December 25: December 25, 1969 to December 18, 1969 due to Christmas. <br />Seconded by Stone and motion carried. <br />
