2959 Tow-Truck Complaint- Don Johnson, Manager of the Pure Oil Station at 1525 West Lar- Falcon Heights Pure penteur Avenue appeared at the Council meeting by request from Oil Stations the Council to answer a complaint from Mrs. Ewald Finger, 1526 Crawford Avenue. Mra. Finger sayel the station tow''-trucks use her driveway to back into every day to turn around. Mr. Johnson says it has been about twice in two years that the trucks were backed into her driveway. He will park his tow-trucks on a rented lot as soon as one can be found. Mr. and Mrs. Finger appeared at the meeting after Mr. Johnson left. They suggested a one-way alley from Arona Avenue to Snelling Drive. Stone moved that the Village Engineer be authorized to make a feasibility study as to the possib~.ity and practicality of en- forcing a one-way traffic sign in the alley between Arona and Snelling Drive. Warkentien seconded and motion carried. Plumbing Permit Warkentien moved that the Council grant the plumbing permit ap- Application: plied for by the Harris Plumbing Company. The Village Attorney has examined the Bond and Insurance and found them to be satis- factory. Black seconded and motion carried. Lauderdale-Falcon Warkentien read a letter from the haw offices of Howard, Lefevere, Heights Hockey Lefler, Hamilton and Pearson regarding the hauderdale-Falcon Board - Heights Joint Hockey Board. The letter states that the Lauder- Resolution 70-7: dale Village Council has declined to authorize the proposed Lauderdale-1Nalcon Hei*hts joint hockey board agreement. They feel that each community should equip its own hockey teams with uniforms and equipment to be the property of the community which buys it. Warkentien moved the following resolution: RESOLVED, that the appropriation of X400 heretofore made for the joint hockey board be rescinded, and that X400 instead be appropriated for the purchase of hockey uniforms and equip- ment for use by the Falcon Heights hockey teams, and that said uniforms and equipment be treated as property of the Village df Falcon Heights. Ecklund seconded and motion carried. Tennis Courts - Black moved that the Council authorize the Village Engineer to Project 70-1: prepare plane and specifications for tennis courts to be con- structed on the Falcon Heights Elementary School property at 1393 Garden Avenue. Warkentien seconded and motion carried. Meeting Date Stone moved that the next regular meeting of the Council be Change; held on Wednesday, February 11, 1970 inasmuch as February 12, falls on Lincoln's Birthday.
