2962 <br />MEETING OF FEBRUARY 11, 1970 <br />The regular meeting of February 11, 1970 was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the <br />following members present: Mayor Warkentien, Clerk Taylor, Councilmen Black, Ecklund <br />and Stone. Also present were.Treasurer Olsen, Engineer Lemberg and Attorney Zdrazil. <br />Minutes: Black moved that the minutes of the meeting of January 22, <br />1970 be approved as corrected. Ecklund seconded and the <br />motion carried. <br />Ken Quarn to Stone moved that Ken Quarn, maintenance man for the Village, <br />attend Sewer be authorized to attend the 7th Annual Surer System Seminar, <br />g~~a,r; conducted by the American Pipe Services. The Seminar will be <br /> held at the Ambassador Motel, Highways 12 and 100, Minneapolis, <br /> Minnesota, for two days, March 10 and 11, 1970, with expenses <br /> to be paid by the Village. Taylor seconded and motion carried. <br />Sanitary Sewer The Villages of Roseville, North St. Paul and the City of West <br />Agreement: St. Paul, Minnesota, have adopted a resolution to change the <br /> wording in the Sewer Agreement, which is in agreement with the <br /> resolution adopted by the Village of Falcon Heights, on Jan- <br /> uary 8, 1970. <br />Seal Coating, Stone moved and Ecklund seconded that the Village Engineer be <br />`Northome Area: authorized to draw plans and specifications for seal coating <br /> streets in the Northome Area which is south of Larpenteur Ave. <br /> and east of Snelling Avenue. Motion carried. <br />St. Anthoz~y Park Ecklund moved that the Village Engineer be instructed and <br />rized to work with the City of St. Paul regarding the St. <br />th <br />Storm Sewer System: o <br />au <br /> Anthor~r Park Storm Surer System. Warkentien seconded and the <br /> motion carried. <br />Application for Ecklund moved that the application for volunteer fireman, <br />Volunteer Fireman: submitted by Dennis Victor Simon, 1974 Selby Avenue, be ap- <br /> proved by the Village of Falcon Heights subject to passing of <br /> physical examination and six months probationary period. <br /> Taylor seconded and motion carried. <br />Fire Reports: Ecklund read Fire Report No. 70-3. <br />Sheriff's Report: Ecklund read Sheriff's Report for January. <br />Riding Tractor: The Village Clerk was given authorization to check into the <br /> costs of a tractor with lawnmower attavhment, cutting blade <br /> and snow plow. <br />One Way Alley: Engineer Lemberg reported it to be unwise at the present time <br /> to change the alley running from Arona to Snelling Drive be- <br /> tween Larpenteur Avenue and Crawford Street into a one way <br /> alley.
