1879 <br />REGULAR ~SEETING MARCH 13, 1963 <br />The regular meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. with the folloaring <br />members being present; Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; George Shavor, Trustee; <br />Willis Warkentien, Trustee; Charles Stone, Trustee; W. A, Mortensen, <br />Clerk. Also present were William E. Olsen, Treasurer; Brad Lemberg, <br />Village Engineer; Michael Galvin, Village Attorney; and Normaaz Gilbert, <br />Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />Maintenance Man: Mortensen read all the letters received from the <br />applicants references for the position of Village <br />Maintenance Man. Shavor moved, Mortensen seconded <br />that ?dr. Quarn be requested to appear for an <br />intervigur with the Council on Friday evening, <br />Pdarch 14th. Carried. <br />John Daubney, qtr. John Daubney presented an application for a <br />Attorney for DX Service Station at Larpenteur and Fairvier~, <br />Roberts Con- fronting on Larpenteur north 200 Ft. off Lar- <br />stxuction Co.s penteur. Stone moved that the application be <br />referred to the Planning Commission, seconded <br />by Warkentien. Carried. <br />League of Women 2~4rs. Frank Pieper, 1583 Vincent St. and Mrs, <br />Voterss Ernest ftinke of 2271 Folwell St, were present <br />as members of the League of Women Voters. <br />Zoning Board: Nilsen moved, seconded by Stone that the Council <br />recess for a meeting of the Planning Commission. <br />Passed. <br />Commorrnrealth The new street crossing light on I,arpenteur <br />Elec. Co. Cross Avenue was discussed. We will have a yellow <br />Walk on Larpe~ flashing signal which conforms with the traffic <br />tear betvreen laws and the cross walk will. also be marked. <br />Snelling and <br />Arenas <br />Village Sub- It was moved by Stone, seconded by Warkentien, <br />division that the Village Attorney proceed with making <br />Ordinance: up the Village Subdivision Ordinance. Carried. <br />Bond for F~otion be Stone, seconded by Warkentien that a <br />Deputy Clerk and X7.,000 bond be taken out on the Deputy Clerk and <br />Deputy Treasurer: Deputy Treasurer.
