191.x. <br />Civil Defense: Stanley Schultz advised the Council he needed help for <br />filling remainder of Civil Defense plastic bags and cans <br />with water. Beloved by Stone, seconded by Warkentien to <br />allcyw ~1.U0 m~X~nnm, for hiring boys to help complete -dii.s <br />task. All ayes. <br />Falcon Heights Church <br />Parking Lot: William Korstad was present to advise the Council. the parking <br />lot was going to be extended and would be in accord with <br />Resolution adopted by the Council at a special hearing on <br />April 21~, 1958, Stone moved, seconded by Shavor that the <br />Falcon Heights Congregational Church be permitted to extend <br />the parking nor existing on Lot 18 to the Northerly limit of <br />said lot, without reducing the volumetric area in accordance <br />with plans and specifications of the Village Engineer. All <br />ayes. <br />Traffic problem on Attorney Galvin will look into the legality of putting "No <br />St, Marys and Naple Through Traffic" signs in this. area, Engineer Lemberg will <br />Knoll Drives investigate signs as tc3 feasibility of certain signs. <br />Attorney Galvin: Council was advised that i.t has never adopted the parking <br />lot ordinance. This was brought up in view of the many <br />complaints arising from the drainage and dint around Lidos <br />Parking Lot Cafe and the State Fair Car mash. Ordinance 64, Section 14.2 <br />Ordinance: does not pertain to them. The solution to this problem would <br />be to adopt the Parking Lot Ordinance. It would be possible <br />for the attorney to have this ordinance available at the <br />next meeting. <br />Insvranc® Shavor moved, seconded by V~arkentien that the Village extend <br />CoiTerage for its insurance coverage to cover this association. A11 ayes. <br />W, Falcon Hts. <br />Playgr. Assn.: <br />Art Lindig We will not need any legal notices far this inasmuch as 100 <br />Developments of property owners are in favor as Lindig is the only one, <br />and no public hearing will be necessary. <br />Suburban Life We are not getting adequate publication from this paper, and <br />Legal Paper: in view of this, the possibility of changing to another one <br />was discussed, Tabled until tree next meeting. <br />Skildum Variance: Shavor moved, seconded by Bdortenson to approve the Variance <br />and the following Resolution was adopted: <br />WHEREAS, Skildvm Construction Company has made an <br />application for a Variance Permit at Simpson and Roselawn <br />RESOLUTION (Lot ]b, Block 3 of Juhl's Roselawn Addition #2) in the <br />Village of Falcon Heights, and a copy of said variance <br />complies with the applicable ordinances, and <br />1 <br />1 <br />WHFf~EAS, the P1.anning Commission of said Village has <br />approved the Variance and recommended same to the Village <br />Council. with the stipulation that the 30 feet set back of the <br />building may be changed to aut3~.orize only a 2y.~. feet set back <br />on Roselawl Avenue, <br />
